Youth Space has been gathering information from young people by carrying out surveys on the streets of Canton. You may have bumped into Ian and Susan after school on Cowbridge Road or chatting to young people in one of the parks.

You'll know it's us because we've got ID badges with our photo and the Youth Space logo and before we leave we make sure you've taken a card telling you who you've been talking to and pointing you towards this web page.

Unfortunately we haven't yet spoken to enough young people or parents to work out what it is young people want and need in Canton yet, so if you spot us make sure you stop and say hello so that we can work it out and respond to your requests.

Who to turn to

I do occasionally get the question who should I turn to for help with ......?

The best way to answer this is first talk it through with someone who you trust, preferably a trusted adult perhaps a teacher, youth leader or parent/carer.

If there isn't an adult around who you trust then you can always grab the Meic. "http://meiccymru.org"

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger then call the police on "999" and explain what you know remembering to give them a clear address or explination of where you are.

If someone is giving you hastle online, or your worried that someone online isn't who they appear to be then "Click CEOP"
