The Methodist Church's Youth Participation Strategy
Making a difference to young people's lives
The Methodist Church is committed to the influence and involvement of children and young people, enabling them to make a difference in their community, their country and the world.
Remember Jamie who was our One Programme Participant for 2009-2010. Jamie helped us start our Duke of Edinburgh programme support and was also with Ian as we started our detached youth work programme and opened Somewhere to Go as a safe third space in Canton a place of open acess youth work. As part of her connexional work she assisted in the organisation of the running of Methodist Youth Assembly 2009 and Breakout 2010.
