Circuit Youth Weekend - Have you got the X Factor
Back to Reviewing Circuit Youth Weekends
The Autumn Circuti Youth Weekend has happened and we are all recovered, but don't go away because we now have photos from our group-fun-time-togetherness-productive-sessions and the PPPPPP available.
This term's theme is "Have you got the X (Christ) Factor" and throughout the weekend we will be exploring this theme through Fun, Fellowship and Faith. We are open to all young people aged 11 - 18 but there are only a limited number of places so get your booking in quickly to secure your place.
The weekend runs from 20:00 on Friday 23 rd October 2009 until 14:00 on Sunday 25 th October and we expect all of our participants to remain under our care for the whole of this time. If you cannot stay for the whole time please let us know as soon as possible.
If you are a musician, it would be great if you can bring your instrument with you. We will be sharing in worship on Sunday morning and are looking to share our musical talents to praise God (obviously with a little practice earlier in the weekend). For those not so musically talented there will be opportunities to explore other forms of praise and worship throughout the weekend.
Before you arrive we would appreciate if you could complete a permission slip (available from the downloads section) and return it along with your payment of £25 (Cheques payable to "Cardiff Methodist Circuit") to cover all food, travel and activities. Those who have not been to a Youth Space Event before will also need to complete a full Youth Space Participants Registration form which are available from the Circuit Office or via our website - www.youthspace.cardiffmethodist.org.uk and return this with their booking.
As with all Youth Space projects our leaders have undergone the Youth Space induction process including CRB checks and an introduction to Child Protection. We take the safety of our young people seriously.
We will be going out on Saturday afternoon for a few hours to enjoy some outdoor activities (weather permitting) and this will include a short train journey and outdoor picnic.
During the weekend we will provide all food but, due to the late start on Friday night, we ask that you have already had dinner/tea before coming to join us. We will end the weekend with a lunch on Sunday after morning service and so the weekend will finish at around 14:00 on the Sunday afternoon. Parents are welcome to join us and the congregation at Radyr Methodist Church for morning worship. However, following the service, we will retire for our final activities and feast before the weekend is completed and we ask that all young people are left to be able to share in these final experiences before being collected at 14:00.
We look forward to spending the weekend with you.
