A gathering of the young people of The Methodist Church in Cardiff and Caerphilly. After last year's event we just had to get together and watch the sun rise together on Easter Morning. With a service of contemplation and celebration followed by Bacon Baps.

So this year Wesley Methodist Church in Caerphilly have kindly offered us their building in which to hold Dawn Live 2011.

Of course to make all of this happen smoothly we are planning a sleepover the night before somewhere and to run a vehicle to wherever the sun is going to rise around us. Unfortunately the sun is rising a little earlier than Ian first thought and so our Sunrise service will now start at 05:45 not the lazy 6:45 Ian first thought!

• We meet on Saturday night at around 20:00
• A few games to make sure we know each other and a telling of the story so far
• Sleeping together
• 05:00 wakeup call so that we are ready to leave ontime
• 05:30 set off for the mountain in minibuses
• 05:45 service starts in quiet contemplation on Caerphilly Mountain
• 05:59 DAWN / SUNRISE
• Service continues in songs of praise as Christ IS Alive.
• After our service we head back to church for bacon baps (or veggi option) and tea to warm us up.
• 08:30 Young People can be collected by parents/carers at Wesley Caerphilly.
