Youth Space at National Events

The Youth Space Smoothie Bar is back from it's Summer Tour...

We were at the following events during the summer of 2011.

• Eisteddfod yr Urdd (Swansea, 30th May - 4th June 2011)
• Royal Welsh Show (Builth Wells, 18th - 21st July 2011)
• Eisteddfod Genedlaethol (Wrexham, 30th July - 6th August 2011)

We were there providing a Christian Welcome and Witness. Providing cold drinks and a place to chill and chat at what were some pretty busy national events. Over the three events we gave away over 2,000 free cold drinks.

We are took "Spirited Art" with us to share young people's exploration of Spirituality and Faith.

The Royal Welsh Show saw a team of 16 Chaplains in High Visibility Jackets (including Ian from Youth Space) roaming the Showground from the Cytun Tent (@PabellCytun). As well as this high visibility approach to the showground there was also a warm welcome with tea, coffee, cold drinks and the opportunity to get off tired feet in the Churches Tent organised by Cytun.

Over the week of the Show many significant contacts were made and referals made by our chapliancy team making this year's witness a truly visible witness of the love of God outpoured on his people.
